<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an external device capable of recognizing part of plural recording media to recognize a designated recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device communicably connected to an external device, comprises: plural recording media; communication means for communicating with the external device; number generation means for allocating a number to each recording medium; and selection means for selecting one recording medium which the external device is made to recognize from the plural recording media; wherein the number generation means allocates the minimum number of numbers generated by the number generation means so that the external device connected to the communication device recognizes the recording medium selected by the selection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
