<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column apparatus capable of improving operability of assembling operation by configuring a friction plate unit without adding components in the steering column apparatus including a mechanism for adjusting the position. <P>SOLUTION: The steering column apparatus includes: a jacket arranged between a pair of side brackets 3c fixed to a vehicle body; a lock bolt 7 disposed so as to penetrate a distance bracket 4, a pair of side brackets 3c, a movable flange 11 having both side of movable plates 10 and shaft parts 11a, and one side of stationary cam 13a and a movable cam 13b; a tilt friction plate 5 disposed between the movable plate 10 and the movable flange 11, the stationary cam 13a being integrated with the adjacent movable flange 11; and friction plate units 8, 9 which are formed into a non-circular cross-section shape such that the rotation of the friction plate units is stopped and the friction plate is inserted with the lock bolt 7 when the friction plate is fitted into a tilting long hole 5d of the side brackets 3c as the shaft part 11a, the shaft part 11a is inserted to the tilting long hole 5d and an insertion hole 10a and the movement of the movable plate 10 is regulated to configure the friction plate units 8, 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
