<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint blocking member, capable of being attached even after construction of a deck flooring, hardly removed by a mischief or strong wind, and capable of being detached by using a tool when repairing or replacing the joint blocking member. <P>SOLUTION: A joint blocking member 1 comprises: a body part 5 made of an elastic material having a bell-shaped cross section, in which both ends of a top part 5a having the same width as that of a joint 4 are bent and suspension parts 5b are hung downward; a pair of supporting vane parts 6, each of which projects obliquely downward and outward near the tip of each of the suspension parts 5b, is elastically deformed inward when being inserted into the joint 4 and returns after insertion to abut on a lower wall face of a concave 2a, thereby preventing the body part 5 from coming out downward; and a pair of spike pieces 7, each of which projects outward near the top end of each of the suspension parts 5b, having a lower slope 7b, which abuts on a side end face of a deck material 2 to enter the joint 4 of the deck material 2 while elastically displacing when being inserted into the joint 4, and an upward-coming-off prevention face 7a, which returns after being inserted into the joint 4 and faces an upper wall surface of the concave 2a to prevent the body part 5 from coming off upwardly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
