<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare a tire model having a favorable distribution of the number of cords in a member model. <P>SOLUTION: A method for preparing a tire model is provided, including steps of: preparing a tire model including a deformed member model which is obtained by deforming a member model of a member that has a predetermined length along a circumferential direction of the tire and that includes a plurality of cords arranged at a predetermined angle with respect to the circumferential direction of the tire, and dividing the deformed tire model in a width direction of the prepared tire model into a plurality of division regions (104); calculating a distance between cords adjacent to each other in the width direction in each division region based on the predetermined angle, the predetermined length, a distance between cords adjacent to each other in the width direction of the member model before deformation, and distances from respective predetermined portions in the plurality of division regions to the rotary shaft of the tire model, and calculating the number of cords per unit length in the width direction of the deformed member model in each of the plurality of division regions based on the calculated distance between the cords (106); and defining in the tire model, a physical property value corresponding to the calculated number of cords in each division region (108). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
