<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of reducing an influence of an ultrasonic wave reflected on a backplane member. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: an ultrasonic oscillator for transmitting/receiving the ultrasonic wave; an intermediate layer having acoustic impedance greater than the ultrasonic oscillator; the backplane member for supporting the ultrasonic oscillator; and a buffer layer. The ultrasonic oscillator, the intermediate layer and the backplane member are disposed in the order of the ultrasonic oscillator, the intermediate layer and the backplane member. Between the intermediate layer and the backplane member, the buffer layer having smaller acoustic impedance than the intermediate layer and the backplane member is disposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
