<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality optical connector boot that prevents an optical fiber cable from being exposed externally and suppresses optical connection loss. <P>SOLUTION: An optical connector boot 1 for accommodating and protecting an optical fiber cable 51 drawn out from an optical connector 50 includes: a boot upper part 11 in which a cable housing groove 13 for accommodating an optical fiber cable 51 is formed; a boot lower part 21 in which a cable housing groove 23 for accommodating an optical fiber cable 51 is formed and onto which the boot upper part 11 is superimposed to form a boot; a hinge 31 for preventing the boot upper part 11 and the boot lower part 21 from opening that connects the boot upper part 11 and the boot lower part 21 at one end of the optical fiber cable 51 in the axial direction and is capable of superimposing the boot upper part 11 onto the boot lower part 21 by folding and stacking the boot upper part 11 upon the boot lower part 21; and a superimposition holding section 41 for keeping the boot upper part 11 and the boot lower part 21 superimposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
