<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device stopping and holding an envelope in a prescribed position in a carrying direction in a stable state in a fold formation step and in a paste application step even when thick contents are enveloped. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device includes: an envelope supply part 2 supplying envelopes of a non-sealed state one by one; a paste application part 14 applying paste to a prescribed part of the envelope; a fold formation part 15 forming a fold in a flap of the envelope; a sealing part 13 folding the flap and sticking it to an envelope body side; and a plurality of carrying roller mechanisms 11, 12, 13, 16 carrying the envelope. Each carrying roller mechanism includes drive rollers 101, and pressing rollers 102 energized to the drive roller sides by springs. A plurality of positioning roller mechanisms 16 each stopping and holding the envelope in the prescribed carrying position in a step of at least one of time when the paste is applied by the paste application part 14 and time when forming the fold by the fold formation part 15 are provided side by side along the carrying direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
