摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excitation method using ultrasonic sensors, capable of generating a low frequency using a plurality of ultrasonic sensors for high frequency; and to provide a structure thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The method for low-frequency vibration excitation using ultrasonic waves generates ultrasonic waves using a plurality of ultrasonic generators attached to a target structure to induce a beating phenomenon, and extracts a frequency lower than a frequency of each of the ultrasonic generators to measure a physical property of the target structure. The method can thus generate the low frequency using a plurality of ultrasonic sensors for high frequency, and be freely applied to a target structure such as a plate, a curved pipe, and the like, regardless a shape of the target structure, using a relatively small-sized ultrasonic sensor for high frequency. Furthermore, the method can excite a specific frequency of an acceleration range so as to be applicable in a relatively poor signal-to-noise ratio range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
