<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a moving picture so that a plurality of files can be managed according to time. <P>SOLUTION: A loop of steps SA2→SA3→SA4→SA2 is repeated when a recording end trigger is generated or until a fixed time elapses, and frame image data is sequentially stored in a buffer memory. When the fixed time (ten minutes) elapses from a video recording start, it is determined whether an area that can record a new file obtained by making frame image data for the fixed time one file, remains in a storage memory (step S1). If capacitance remains (step S1: Yes), new file processing is executed, which attaches a file name to the file composed of the frame image data for the fixed time created in a step SA5 and records the file in a spare area of the storage memory (step S2).
