Provided are isolated polynucleotides comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide having at least 60% identity to a polypeptide selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 10, 28 and 29, wherein the polypeptide modulates acidity of a plant. Also provided are nucleic acid constructs and plant cells comprising same and methods of using same for modulating acidity of a plant.
