<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal name setting method and its system which add a signal name which is not repeated, and surely and easily perform a signal name additional operation in a logic processing design. <P>SOLUTION: The signal name setting method includes: a step which divides series of sequence logic into suitable sheet units; a step which in the signal name setting method for uniquely determining an input name and an output name for each sheet, assigns local signal names that are unique in the sheet to input and output of the sheet; a step which assigns a function name to the sheet which relates to a function of the sheet; a step which determines an output actual signal name that the local signal name is added after the function name, for the output of each sheet; a step which extracts the signal name and the function name of each sheet by associating these names; a step which determines the input of the other sheets that receive the output of the sheet by comparing input signal related information and output signal related information; and a step which replaces the determined input signal name with the output actual signal name of the sheet on a transmission side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
