An intake manifold for an internal combustion engine having a housing having a uniformly thick, outwardly facing arch shaped elongated arm for mounting to a cylinder head of the internal combustion engine with an outer surface of the arm having an outwardly facing projection disposed along a portion of a length of the elongated arm. The projection is integrally formed with the arm. The projection is at, or proximate to, the apex of the arch of the arch shaped arm. |
