The invention relates to a honeycomb material for the production of honeycomb panels and to methods for producing said honeycomb material. The honeycomb material comprises strips, each of which is provided on at least one side with a layer of adhesive liquid. The strips have a solid, substantially trapezoidal shape and are bonded together by a thermoplastic material. The honeycomb material and panels made therefrom are produced using a very simple and inexpensive method.
