<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band for machine assembly which can prevent accidents due to contact and which has a highly safe assembly state. <P>SOLUTION: A tightening metal 3 is provided in the base end of a band body wound around an electric pole D, a hook 4a on the side of the tip of a hook bolt 4 penetrated by the fastening metal 3 is locked with one of the lock-stopping holes 1, ... arranged in a row in the band body 2 accordingly, and a nut 5 is screwed in a screw part 4b on the side of the base end and engaged with a safety cover C of the hook bolt 4 of the band for machine assembly fastened around the electric pole D. The safety cover C is configured by a resin block body 6 comprising a contact surface 7 to contact the electric pole D along the circumferential direction and a striking surface 9 to engage the band body 2 with an engaging groove 8 provided on the contact surface 7 to contact the tightening metal 3.
