<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology by which a spark plug can be manufactured with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: One end of a ground electrode of a spark plug is connected to a main body metal fitting, and the other end of the ground electrode is connected to an electrode tip. Here, the ground electrode having one end connected to the main body metal fitting is bent so that the other end approaches a central electrode. Then, after being bent, the electrode tip is welded with a side face of an inner side of the other end of the ground electrode so that a part of the electrode tip protrudes toward the side face of the central electrode from the other end of the ground electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
