The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a color filter member for electronic paper, which is capable of providing good color display characteristics when used in electronic paper. The present invention provides a color filter member for electronic paper, which is used in electronic paper in which a display medium layer is arranged between two substrates facing each other, at least one of said substrates being transparent, and predetermined information is displayed by the display medium layer. The color filter member for electronic paper is characterized by comprising: a color filter base; a color filter layer that is formed on one surface side of the color filter base and comprises a plurality of colored layers; and an optical function layer or surface protective layer that forms the outermost surface on a surface side of the color filter base, on said surface side the color filter layer being not formed.
