PURPOSE: A thermosetting protective resin composition is provided to secure the membrane strength of a protective film by containing an alkoxy group-containing silane modified epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION: A thermosetting protective resin composition contains 0.5-30wt% of alkoxy group-containing silane modified epoxy resin. The alkoxy group-containing silane modified epoxy resin is obtained by reacting an epoxy compound with a silyl group marked with chemical formula 1, with alkoxy silane marked with chemical formula 2. In chemical formulas, R1 and R2 are a C1-6 alkyl group or a C1-6 alkoxy group. R3, R4, R5, and R6 are the C1-6 alkyl group. R7 is selected from the group consisting of the C1-6 alkyl group, a C2-6 vinyl group, a C2-6 vinyl alkyl group, a C1-6 mercapto alkyl group, and a C6-12 aryl group.
