<p>Providing a vehicular electric power source control device for a vehicle provided with an engine that may be temporarily stopped, which control device improves the convenience on the side of vehicle passengers. Engine start permitting/inhibiting means 138 permits the implementation of an automatic engine starting control, if a Ready-on state is selected as a power source position P ES by power-source-position switching control means 126, if stored-electric-energy-amount determining means 132 determines that an electric energy amount SOC stored in an electric-energy storage device 56 has been reduced to or below a charging start threshold value A1 OC , and if passenger presence determining means 134 determines that any passenger is present within the vehicle, so that the electric-energy storage device 56 is charged by implementing the above-described automatic engine starting control as needed, making it possible to eliminate a need of restricting an electric power supply from the electric-energy storage device 56 to the electronic devices, etc., maintain a suitable amount of electric energy in the electric-energy storage device 56 and improve the convenience on the side of the vehicle passengers.</p> |
