PURPOSE: A vaccine strain for Newcastle disease is provided to ensure safety to chickens and to improve immunity of chicken. CONSTITUTION: A vaccine strain for Newcastle disease is denoted by deposit number KCTC 11718BP. The vaccine strain belongs to a subtype of genotype I in phylogenetic systematic. The vaccine stain has affinity to chicken respirator and digestive organ. A vaccine for preventing Newcastle disease contains the vaccine strain. The vaccine is vaccinated to chickens by drinking, eye-dropping, or spraying. The vaccine is manufactured in a sub-unit vaccine, vector vaccine, chimera vaccine, or DNA vaccine. The vaccine contains acceptable medium or excipient and adjuvant.
