<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a bag which is formed with a bottom part and has a bottom seal rib folded at the bottom part without damage in a bag making and packaging machine. <P>SOLUTION: When a pair of front and rear seal jaws 21 and 21 make contact with each other across a tubular wrapping material F, front side pieces 24a and 24a and rear side pieces 24b and 24b of a pair of right and left rib folding members 24 and 24 coupled to the front side seal jaw 21 are made to intrude under the bottom part formed of a pair of right and left bottom folding members 23 and 23. When the seal jaws 21 and 21 are separated from each other, the bottom seal rib is folded into the bottom part by further intruding the rear side pieces 24b and 24b of the rib folding members 24 and 24 under the bottom part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
