<p>The method involves defining and calculating angular sectors (W) over a field of regard facing a pilot. A terrain safety cordon (D) is constructed using a terrain database. A hybrid safety cordon is constructed for some of the angular sectors, where the hybrid safety cordon, in each of the concerned angular sectors, makes use of the higher of a sensor safety cordon (B) and the terrain safety cordon. One of the hybrid safety cordon, the terrain safety cordon, and the sensor safety cordon is displayed.</p> |
