PURPOSE: A voice conversion service system in a portable terminal and method thereof are provided to offer various voice conversion services to a user without including a voicemail box by providing the voice conversion service based on a location. CONSTITUTION: A service program(100) communicates with an analysis server. The service program analyzes a header analysis unit through the received unit information. The service program separates text data from substitution data. The service program applies the substitution data at the text data through a substitution application unit. The service program changes voice into the text data which explains the image data of the unit information. The service program outputs the changed voice to the portable communication terminal.
