A PRODUCTION METHOD OF HIGH POROSITY CARBON

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing carbon materials of high porosity and the carbon materials of high porosity manufactured by the same are provided to obtain large specific surface area and meso-porous pores by activating carbonated grain chaff without volatile components based on a carbonizing fluidized bed and an activating fluidized bed. CONSTITUTION: Grain chaff is supplied into the carbonizing fluidized bed(201) of a carbonizer(20) through an injector(10). Devolatilizing process is implemented based on the fluidizing medium of the carbonizing fluidized bed at a temperature of 400 to 750 degrees Celsius. The grain chaff is scattered to the upper side of the carbonizing fluidized bed. Fluidizing gas and volatilized powder from the scattered carbonized grain chaff are separated in a first cyclone(30). The carbonized grain chaff is mixed with an oxidizer in a mixer(40). The mixture of the carbonized grain chaff and the oxidizer is supplied into the activating fluidized bed(601) of an activator(60) at a temperature of 700 to 1000 degrees Celsius. The carbonized grain chaff is activated. The activated carbonized grain chaff is washed and dried.
