PURPOSE: A system for controlling the refresh operation of a plurality of laminated chips, a semiconductor device, and a method thereof are provided to perform the refresh operation of each slave chip in different timing by activating each slave chip to be delayed at a certain delay. CONSTITUTION: A master chip(100) offers a refresh signal, a bank active signal, and a slave chip division signal to a plurality of slave chips. A test refresh signal is offered to the plurality of the slave chips through a first semiconductor chip through line(L1). The plurality of the slave chips delays a refresh operation at each slave chip by delaying the bank active signal or an input signal.
