The anchor (6) has an input arm (62) and an output arm (63) whose ends are in round shape such as end winding, spiral or involute shape, where the anchor is made from silicon. The arms are arranged such that the arms are in annular contact with teeth of an anchor wheel, where length of contact between the anchor and the anchor wheel is less than one tenth of a millimeter. The arms are provided with a coating such as diamond-like carbon coating.
