PURPOSE: A Korean style house using a steel frame and synthetic resin roof tiles and a construction method thereof are provided to improve the waterproof characteristic, durability, and constructability of a Korean style house. CONSTITUTION: A method for construction of a Korean style house using a steel frame and synthetic resin roof tiles is as follows. A main frame and a roof frame for a Korean style house are implemented out of a steel material. Steel coupling members, which are attached to a wooden column member(120), are welded to steel corner column skeletons(110) and wall column skeletons of the main frame in order to construct a wooden column. A footstone member(300) and a chevron member(400) are respectively installed on the bottom and top of the wooden column in order to construct a Korean style wooden column. A wooden horizontal strut and a block are installed between the wooden columns in order to construct a wall. A wooden angle rafter member is installed on the leading end of a steel floor skeleton of the roof frame. A wooden rafter(501) is installed to be exposed between C-shaped steels(540,541) and a wooden shingle(504) is covered to construct eaves. A sandwich panel(800), asphalt roofing(810), and a tile holder(600) are installed on the top of the roof frame. A synthetic resin eave tile plate(520), a synthetic resin tile plate(510), and a synthetic resin ridge tile are installed in the eave portions of the roof.
