PREPARATION METHOD EMBOSSED PAPER

PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing embossed paper is intended to give paper precious metal sensation due to diffused reflection/scattered light from a fine groove not recognized with naked eyes and from metallic particles coated on the groove. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing embossed paper is as follows. A layer(30) coated with coating agent is formed on original paper(10). The coating agent comprises metallic particle selected from a group of gold and pearl with 1~5μm diameter. The surface of the original paper with the coated layer is compressed by a mold to form grooves(20). The grooves are formed in parallel on the surface of the original paper with the coated layer. The groove has a 0.001~0.2mm gap and 0.001~0.1mm depth. The original paper with the grooves is dried.
