PURPOSE: A clamp-type pipe joint device is provided to simply fix pipes to a joint pipe by coupling a clamping member which presses a packing. CONSTITUTION: A clamp-type pipe joint device(1) comprises a joint pipe(2), a packing(3), a clamp(5), and a pressing unit(4). The packing is inserted in a packing coupling groove(2b) of the joint pipe. A pipe(10) is inserted in the packing, caught on the joint pipe, and fixed by the clamp. The clamp comprises a pair of clamp members(6,6'). The pressing unit and the packing are inserted into the pipe, and the packing is pushed into the packing coupling groove. The pressing unit is fitted into a ridge-shaped holding groove(6b) with a holding protrusion(2c) of the joint pipe and the packing is pressed against the joint pipe.
