The panel i.e. monolithic panel (1), has two facings (2, 3) that are spaced and separated by an insulating core or layer (5), where the facings are connected by a longitudinal edge wall or surface (4, 6). The facings and the edge wall or surface are formed of a single piece, and are made of ultra high performance concrete. Two longitudinal sides of the panel are formed by the edge wall or surface. The insulating core or layer is made of heat insulation or phonic materials e.g. polyurethane or expanded or extruded polystyrene, and vegetable wool material, and is formed of an air film. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an insulating panel.
