The member has a balance spring (1) mounted on an arbor (2) and arranged for oscillating around an equilibrium position. A roller (4) and/or hub (3) formed of disk are mounted on the arbor and provided with blind openings (30) to reduce moment of inertia. An impulse pin (40) is mounted on the roller, where the arbor is made of metal and the roller and/or hub are made of silicon or ceramic. The hub cooperates with a pitcher for accelerating or decelerating the member, where the member eliminates balance.
