<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an ink composition giving an ink composition excellent in discharge stability, storage stability and scratch resistance as well. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed a method for producing an ink composition containing at least a color material comprising a metal compound and/or a hollow resin particle, a polyurethane resin and water as a solvent, which includes a heat treatment of the polyurethane resin and a dispersion treatment of the heat-treated polyurethane, the color material and the water in a mixed liquid state, to prepare the ink composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
