<p>This invention is directed to performing a highly precise time synchronization control by use of signals from a GPS satellite. On the basis of GPS signals of ten-millisecond period received by a GPS reception unit (1102), a sampling signal generation unit (1104) resets a signal generation counter in a period of ten milliseconds; updates the counter value in a period shorter than ten milliseconds; and outputs a sample signal at a predetermined counter value. A digital data generation unit (1108) resets an offset counter in a period of ten milliseconds; updates the counter value of the offset counter in a period shorter than ten milliseconds; calculates a sample signal input time by use of both a counter value at inputting of the sample signal and a base value that is to be used for deriving a time in units of ten milliseconds; generates a timestamp; adds the timestamp to data indicating a quantity of electricity read from a quantity-of-electricity acquiring unit (1107) at inputting of the sample signal; and transmits the data, to which the timestamp has been added, from a communication unit (1109) to a management apparatus (1110). These operations are permitted in each of a plurality of data collection apparatuses (100).</p> |
