<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiver capable of easily and exactly performing manual gain adjustment of an RF signal level, optimally adjusting the RF signal level according to wave number or optimally adjusting the RF signal level according to a frequency band or a modulation system. <P>SOLUTION: The optical receiver 1 includes: a PD 10 for converting an optical signal into an electric signal; a detector 25 for detecting an electric signal level in any of states from an output by the PD 10 to an output to the outside of the optical receiver 1; and a reception control part 30 for calculating an electric signal level based on a value detected by the detector 25 and performing predetermined control for adjusting the electric signal level output to the outside of the optical receiver 1 based on the calculated electric signal level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
