<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small planetary gear mechanism which has two external gears in double rows for eccentrically rotating them in a 180° opposed manner, and whose transmission torque is increased with the transmission force per tooth increased by improving the non-uniform distribution of internal stress and tooth face contact pressure at engaging parts, generated by force applied to the engaging part with an internal gear only at the single side of the width of the internal gear because the tooth width of each external gear is 1/2 of the width of the internal gear or smaller. <P>SOLUTION: The tooth thickness at the end of the external gear 40 to engage with the tooth-width end of the internal gear 11 is set greater than the tooth thickness at the other end to make a backlash amount Bs1 between the force transmitting tooth faces at engaging points of the ends of the internal gear 11 in the tooth-width direction smaller than a backlash amount Bs2 on the center side of the internal gear 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
