<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device compact in a constitution having a reduction gear, an electric motor and a shift mechanism in parallel along an axle. <P>SOLUTION: The shift mechanism, a reduction mechanism 16 and a driving motor 15 are arranged in parallel in the axial direction of the axle 5 inside a rear hub 1. The shift mechanism transmits stepping force to a driving wheel 45 via a sprocket 4, and the reduction mechanism 16 transmits driving force from the driving motor 15 to the driving wheel. The shift mechanism includes a sun gear 3a for a transmission, a planetary gear 3b for the transmission and a planetary carrier 3c for the transmission, and includes a shift control mechanism 10 for shifting by switching so that the sun gear 3a for the transmission is rotatable or nonrotatable around the axle 5 to the driving force from the sprocket 4. The reduction mechanism 16 includes a sun gear 16a for a reduction gear and a planetary gear 16b for the reduction gear, and holds the planetary gear 16b for the reduction gear by the planetary carrier 3c for the transmission, and a clutch 30 is arranged between an outer ring gear 16d for the reduction gear for meshing with the planetary gear 16b for the reduction gear and a motor housing 15b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
