PURPOSE: An upright type vacuum cleaner is provided to continuously perform dust suction process by maintaining contact between a suction nozzle and floor. CONSTITUTION: An upright type vacuum cleaner comprises a main body, a wheel assembly(20), and a suction nozzle(300). The main body is pivotally prepared against floor. The wheel assembly is pivotally installed in the main body. The suction nozzle is pivotally combined with a mount shaft, maintains contact state with floor regardless of an angle, and includes a housing unit(310) and extension unit(320).
