<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable gas sensor free from damages in a water repellent filter. <P>SOLUTION: A filter support member 15 includes a cylindrical part 150 formed in a cylindrical rotary shape whose one end is blocked, and a support member vent hole 152 that is provided on the side face of the cylindrical part 150. A filter 160 is attached so as to cover the filter support member 15. An encapsulation member protrusion 44 is formed as screening means by pushing out part of the base end side of an encapsulation member 40 along the extension in the opening direction of the support member vent hole 152. Even if high pressure water is injected into the base end part from outside, the encapsulation member protrusion 44 provided in the encapsulation member 40 that seals the base end part serves as a barrier against the high pressure water injected from an arbitrary direction, causing the high pressure water to hardly hit the water repellent filter 16 directly on the support member vent hole 152. The high pressure water injected from a non-obstructive angle by the encapsulation member protrusion 44 obliquely hits the filter against the opening direction, allowing an impact force to be weakened to avoid damages in the water repellent filter 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
