摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an inverter circuit, and to provide the safe travelling of a railroad vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle control system includes: the inverter circuit 2; a permanent magnet synchronous motor 6 driven by power from the inverter circuit 2 as a driving force; a crossover 10 connected between the inverter circuit 2 and the permanent magnet synchronous motor 6; an AC current sensor 3 installed between the inverter circuit 2 and the crossover 10; a contactor 5 which is connected between the crossover 10 and the permanent magnet synchronous motor 6, and allows pass or shut off electricity; a DC current sensor 7 connected to the opposite side of the permanent magnet synchronous motor 6 of the inverter circuit 2; and a control unit 9 connected to the contactor 5, the AC current sensor 3 and the DC current sensor 7. The control unit 9 determines an abnormality of a ground fault or a short circuit accident resulting from the crossover 10 in a drive system based on the current value detected from the AC current sensor 3 and the DC current sensor 7, and outputs an opening command to the contactor if the abnormality is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
