The invention relates to a container, comprising: a floor (4) for receiving products,; a frame (1) supporting protective and retaining walls (2, 3), the height of which determines the receiving space of the container; and a plurality of said walls (2, 3) for protecting and retaining the products received on the floor (4). The frame (1) is arranged so as to have a plurality of heights, and the protective and retaining walls (2, 3) are arranged to vary between a collapsed state and a deployed state and thus to adjust the height of the frame (1). The space of the container of the invention can be adjusted for the load to be transported.
