摘要 The method involves providing a cylinder head (6) with a cylinder (3), and determining temperature of the cylinder head by a sensor unit (16). Air ratio is reduced when the temperature (Tcyl) of the cylinder head exceeds predetermined upper limit temperature based on stoichiometric operation of a combustion engine (1). The air ratio is increased when the temperature of the cylinder head falls below of predetermined lower limit temperature based on under-stoichiometric operation of the combustion engine. The combustion engine is equipped with a liquid cooling unit (12).
