Disclosed are a terminal and method for controlling uplink transmission power. According to the terminal of the present invention, a receiving antenna receives a first message, including an interference level in an allocated frequency partition, from a serving-advanced base station (S-ABS) or a target-advanced base station (T-ABS). A processor determines a transmission power value for transmitting an uplink signal to the T-ABS using the interference level. A transmitting antenna transmits an uplink signal to the T-ABS at the determined transmission power value.
