<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which allows the increase in the light extraction efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element has a substrate 1, and a first electrode 2, an organic layer 3 including at least one luminescent layer and a second electrode 4, which are stacked in this order. The first electrode 2 includes a binder and a kind of conductive substance selected from a set of nano particles and a set of nano wires.
