<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rooftop liquid spraying device to spray liquid on a prescribed position on a roof in accordance with an external weather condition. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid supply pipe 20 is provided with spray openings 30 each having a slit-like opening at a prescribed interval to spray liquid along a surface of a roof. In winter, accumulation of snow 40 in a prescribed range from an edge of the roof is melted by spraying liquid on the roof along an outer periphery thereof, thereby preventing the accumulated snow from falling down. A double pipe allowing heat to be exchanged between an inner pipe and an outer pipe is preferably used for the liquid supply pipe 20 when the length of the same is long. The device can also be used for spraying the liquid on a photovoltaic power generation panel to melt snow thereon in winter and to reduce temperature thereof in summer. In addition, a storage tank is preferably installed at an under roof space so that the liquid is pumped up thereto using night time power and then sprayed to the roof in day time from the storage tank by a small pressurized pump. Spraying the liquid is controlled by detecting an external environment in accordance with degrees of the accumulation of snow, elevated temperatures of the roof or the photovoltaic power generation panel, and aridity of a planted section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
