<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing electrolytic water, which improves an electrolytic reaction by sufficiently contacting an electrode with water flowing in respective electrode chambers where the electrode of a porous body is arranged, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing electrolytic water includes: an anode chamber filled with an anode electrode formed of the porous body without clearance; a cathode chamber filled with a cathode electrode formed of the porous body without clearance; an intermediate chamber provided between the anode chamber and the cathode chamber, which stores an aqueous electrolyte solution; a first diaphragm made of an anion exchange membrane for separating the anode chamber from the intermediate chamber; a second diaphragm made of a cation exchange membrane for separating the cathode chamber from the intermediate chamber; and a partition wall for separating the anode chamber from the cathode chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
