<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a cage for a roller type deceleration device. <P>SOLUTION: An input shaft 7 is arranged coaxially with a fixedly arranged internal gear 3, and the input shaft 7 includes eccentric disks 9 rotatable in the internal gear 3. A cage 14 rotatable between the internal gear 3 and the eccentric disks 9 is provided at an axial end of an output shaft 12 arranged coaxially with the input shaft 7, pockets 18 fewer than internal teeth 4 of the internal gear 3 are formed in the cage 14, rollers 19 are received respectively in the pockets 18, the rollers 19 are sequentially meshed with the internal teeth 4 through rotation of the eccentric disks 9 rotating along with the input shaft 7, the rollers 19 are moved circumferentially by a distance corresponding to one of the internal teeth 4 per rotation of the input shaft 7, and thereby the output shaft 12 is rotated at a reduced speed. End faces 18b of the pocket 18 facing each other in a cage axial direction are covered to make both ends smoothly continuous with side surfaces 18a of the pocket 18, thereby preventing stress during torque transmission from being concentrated on a joint part of the side surfaces 18a and the end faces 18b, and improving the durability of the cage 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
