<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device, a communication system, a relay device information acquisition method and a relay device information display method capable of acquiring information necessary to determine a location to install a separation type relay device in a two-dimensional region. <P>SOLUTION: A relay device 111 according to the present invention which relays data transmitted and received between a base station BS and a mobile station MS comprises; a movable base station side unit 113, a mobile station side unit 115 which is movable independently of the base station side unit 113 and is connected with the base station side unit 113 via a signal cable, and a relay device control part 125.
