The humidor (1) has an interchangeably arranged suction element (2) e.g. rod-shaped suction element (2a), including an open-pore inorganic solid material and a reservoir (4), which stays in connection with humidification liquid and air flow for humidification of tobacco goods e.g. cigars. The suction element comprises porous sintered glass or ceramic and antibacterial coating that releases silver ions, where color of the suction member is changed when the suction member is in dry condition. The antibacterial coating is provided on an inner side of a wall of the reservoir. The suction member is designed in disk-shaped suction member, rod-shaped suction member, meandering or tubular-shaped suction member.
