<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pneumatic radial tire that can improve riding comfort ability and also noise performance while maintaining flat spot performance. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire has a cross belt 2 comprising cord rubber-coated layers 2a and 2b on an outer periphery of a crown part of a carcass 1; and a belt reinforcing layer 3 at outside of a tire radial direction of the cross belt 2. The cord comprising a belt reinforcing layer 3 is a composite cord comprising a plurality of sorts of twisted organic fibers of different elasticity modulus, and when tension residual stress of the composite cord which locates at a center of width of the belt reinforcing layer is taken as σ1, and tension residual stress of the composite cord which locates at an end of width of the belt reinforcing layer is taken as σ2, σ1/σ2 are ≤1.7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
