PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malfunction from occurring when writing data in an IC tag after a power shutdown in an image forming device using the IC tag.

SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: a reader/writer 8 for performing a data reading/writing operation to the IC tag; a capacitor 33 for supplying a power source to the reader/writer 8 when internal power supply Vcc of the image forming device is shutdown; an AD conversion unit 84 for detecting voltage of the internal power supply Vcc of the image forming device; and a switch 34 for controlling electric conduction from the capacitor 33 to electric circuits excluding the reader/writer 8.
