<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate license management of a driver plug-in when installing the driver plug-in and performing the license management. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device with a function plug-in installed comprises: management means for managing availability information indicating whether a user can use a function plug-in; reception means for receiving plug-in identification information identifying a function plug-in and user authentication information from a first information processing device; determination means for, if authentication is successful using the received user authentication information, determining whether the function plug-in indicated by the plug-in identification information can be used by an authenticated user using the availability information; transmission means for transmitting, to the first information processing device, a determination result indicating that an approval is determined to be required; creation means for creating an approval screen on which the approval can be performed on the Web if an approval request demand is received from the first information processing device; and transmission means for transmitting URL of the approval screen to a second information processing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
